Though not directly related to the theme of graduation rates, the total number of annual college graduates is very interesting.
3.8 million graduate each year with either an Associate, Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree.
Are we creating 3.8 million jobs/year that require these degrees?
At best we create 2 million TOTAL jobs/year, and far less during the previous 5 years.
Is "lack of education" or training really reducing US employment?
Can we really have a 'college-education-deficiency' when we produce 2 times as many college graduates/year as we do jobs?
?
