In writing a post, it is sometimes helpful to use a symbol that is not available on a standard keyboard, such as "—" or "÷", to make the post easier to read. For that reason, I'm posting a list of the unique symbols I've been able to save thus far.
Any additions and contributions are appreciated. (I'm still looking for an "approximately = " symbol—the one that has a "~" above the "=" sign.)

≠ (not equal to)
_this can also be keyed in by typing, (without spaces), the following 6 keys:

≤ (less than or equal to, as in 4 ≤ 8)
_this can also be keyed in by typing, (without space), the following 6 keys:

≥ (greater than or equal to, as in 8 ≥ 4)
_this can also be keyed in by typing, (without space), the following 6 keys:
