The site meter topped 100,000 today, so I thought I'd take this opportunity to congratulate Unlawful on the milestone. ;D This forum is a wonderful community of diverse people sharing expertise, asking questions, offering opinions, or just venting the pent up frustration brought on by 8 years of Bush globalism.
As a non-economist, I especially want to say thanks for the clear, concise explanations. I've learned a lot here. Thanks to all of you, but special thanks to Unlawful for keeping it all going, for free, as far as I can tell.
Sincerely, psychecc

I want to thank all the members and guests that have participated and contributed.
Without the help of members and guests, this forum would have been nothing more than a blog, and would have drawn little traffic or interest.
Thanks again to all who have contributed.

I second that. Congratulations ULC, on an outstanding forum. Your brilliant posts have taught me much. It is a great place to share ideas, and it needs to be visited by many more people. Thanks for all your work on issues that need the truth exposed once and for all!!!

Should be 100,000,000 visits. The "inattentive American voters" theory still holds.

Should be 100,000,000 visits. The "inattentive American voters" theory still holds. Thanks, fredorbob. (I meant to say this a lot sooner). Our political system is appears to be getting less and less responsive to the will of the People. And one reason certainly is that of inattentive voters. But it needs to go beyond just becoming more attentive. Voters actually need to start doing their own thinking on issues, instead of substituting for it with the half-witted soundbites and self-serving explanations served up by the Corporate-controlled media and Corporate-owned government.
