Just saw on "Real Orange" that the 60 year old Fullerton police chief just retired with unspecified disability from his near $300K job, and with a $150K payoff. He went on paid leave immediately after six of his officers beat a mentally ill homeless man to death last year. One of them is charged with 2nd degree murder.
They cited stress on the job, a desk job, you know like millions suffer without compensation. Imagine the stress of being homeless and a target of police brutality.
The chief should be getting his pension alright - 3 squares a day behind bars.

Unjust, I agree.
He was NOT suddenly disabled by the bad publicity ... this should be a crime when employees get disability retirements because their reputation was damaged.
