532. We need an honest, transparent election (Iowa Primary lesson 1) (1/13/07) Obama wins Iowa - a state with 92% white population. Why a white state which generally considered conservative has elected a black candidate? It means American people are too resentful to the policy of current government. They hate Iraq war and the loss of civil right. How can we have this result? Because Iowa Democratic Primary Caucus is an honest, transparent one. Residents gathered at the site on time to discuss their choices then raise their hands. The counting is present, direct and clear. Voters know the result right away. It makes an election hard to be rigged. As we have seen the mainstream of public opinion is to change the status quo, then Ron Paul should have won the Iowa Republican Caucus too. He has more distinctive flag than Obama has. But he only got 10%. Why? He obviously lost to a corruptive vote system in Iowa Republican Primary - ballot counting. The ballot was counted by election office. Then an officer would tell you the result. A number can be faked or altered easily. Voters can hardly verify it individually. This is proved in New Hampshire Primary: Quote, "Voter Fraud Against Paul Confirmed in Sutton, N.H By admin | January 8, 2008 Sutton with 100% reporting reported 0 votes for paul but poster in Sutton posted: My mom, aunt, and dad all voted for RP today in my hometown, My mom and aunt both work passing out ballots, and checking them off. I just looked at the politico map and it says their town has ZERO votes for Ron. Now i know that there isn’t corruption on voting in that little town, so where they reported it must be. What do I do, anyone know??? www.ronpaulwarroom.com/?p=655#more-655Greenville Vote Discrepancy SAME as Sutton Moreover, when Sutton had been found out, they quickly added 31 votes, and cited ‘human error.’ What is their excuse for this source, now showing Greenville at 25 votes: www.nashuatelegraph.com/apps/pbcs.dll/section?category=news0807The problem is, you have to take what they told you but can't verify it. They could tell you it's zero, that forgery is easy to be find out. They could also tell you it's 31 (or 25) then it is hard for you to confirm it's a rigging while the real votes may be 131 or 125. ----------------- This is a covert totalitarian country. Official poll used to put Ron Paul at the lowest. TV news used to focus on Rody and Romney but neglect Paul. Only they can't manipulate the money amount of campaign donation. How ruling class control your mind by fake poll. The vivid sample how Feds manipulate media to cheat public. When they can still put Paul at 4.7% in a fake poll. The Feds could create a false flag attack such like 911. That's how they could rig a election to select their puppet Bush as president. Media propaganda covers up 911 plot and led US into unjust war. It also justify a rigged election by fake poll. That's how Bush could be president for twice. This poll is a vivid sample of how media direct public's mind with pre-concept psychological operation. Because they won't allow an anti-war candidate to win a campaign. They can manipulate a randon number of 4.7% on Ron Paul but they can't manipulate the money amount. Ron Paul got most donation from military contributions Quote, "Ron Paul leads ALL presidential candidates in monetary military contributions Percentages**: 49.5% Ron Paul 34.6% McCain 7.0% Romney 4.6% Giuliani 2.0% Hunter 2.3% Others thespinfactor.com/thetruth/2007/07/17/ron-paul-leads-all-08-candidates-with-one-third-of-military-contributions-for-q2/In addition to military support, Ron Paul also sets one-day GOP fundraising record. He hauled in more than 4.2 million on 11/5. That money came from grassroot voters, how many votes does it mean? Yet, the media always put him at the lowest poll number. Do you recognize how this country is manipulated? ------------- This is a covert totalitarian country. They select president by rigged election. Kat Hat Sung,
I agree with many of your points. And I agree with your general theme that our election process is still untrustworthy, & wrought with fraud.
We need a verifiable paper trail. But we need more than that. We need to give voters themselves a paper copy of their own votes.
If the voting machines are already providing for a paper trail, like they do in California, then it would relatively easy to also give voters a copy of their own votes.
In California, the electronic voting machines provide some semblance of a paper trail. There is supposedly a paper record of the electronic vote, that is shown on the screen adjacent to the voting machine. (I don't know the exact details, however, because I always request an old-fashioned paper ballot, where you just fill in the boxes with a pen.)
It should be relatively easy to make a 2nd paper copy of California's electronic voting, and give it to the voter. It would certainly keep the government honest about counting votes, since voting records would ALSO be held by the voters themselves.
It would ensure that the government is concerned about the will of the people, and maybe even a little scared of the people. The latter would be a good thing, in my opinion.

Thanks. I think a paper copy is not enough. How do you know they won't give you a rigged result? The point is to count the votes at present. That is, when the vote is finished, (say, at 8.p.m.) Each vote site must count the votes immediatel. Voters or their representatives have the right to watch at side. The result must be declaired right away. It can largely prevent the rigging.
-----------------
When the poll result is not to the favor of the host and they can't cover it up by a fake one, they simply cancel it. That's why Official poll used to put Ron Paul at the lowest. TV news used to focus on Rody and Romney but neglect Paul. Quote, "SF Republican Establishment vs. Ron Paul Posted by Lew Rockwell at December 5, 2007 08:21 AM
An on-scene report from Jerry Cullen: "The San Francisco Republican Alliance headed by Gail Neira held their pre election banquet at the Holiday Inn at Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco last evening, December 4th, 2007. The gathering was advertised as a gala affair of loyal Republicans to be followed by a straw poll to select the favorite Presidential Candidate. The featured speaker was Republican State Senator Sam Aanesta (CA 4th SD). The Senator treated the audience to an hour long election pitch for Fred Thompson that cured the insomnia of all in attendance. After endless delays of meaningless trivia the doors were opened to the late comers to the straw poll each of whom had paid $5 for admission. The flood of Ron Paul supporters entered the room to join an already substantial number of Ron Paul supporters that had attended the 'banquet'.
"A shocked Gail Neira in consultation with the Fred Thompson Northern CA Coordinator cancelled the straw poll vote offering a series of fraudulent, incomprehensible and incoherent reasons. The result was chaos as more than one hundred Ron Paul supporters objected to the outright deception. Neira’s ratings reached a level of unreality beyond description. Security was called to evict the peaceful if upset Ron Paul followers. When I asked that a picture be taken to attest to security attacking the 79-year-old man, security turned and disappeared.
"The San Francisco Republican Party has not seen energy and enthusiasm like that displayed by the Ron Paul supporters in many years, if ever. Yet instead of opening their arms to this wonderful opportunity to rebuild a failed organization with an army of young, vibrant and intelligent supporters. the San Francisco Republican Party pretends that all is well. Their attitude can best be exemplified by the passive presence of a Vice Chair of the SF Republican Party Central Committee who witnessed the entire event at the Holiday Inn in silence. Amazing!
"It is clear that Ron Paul’s message has achieved momentum and attracted substantial funds. Message, Money and Momentum are a powerful political force. The Ron Paul revolution is alive and well. No wonder that the opposition will resort to disgraceful tactics to stop the express."

Ron Paul second in Nevada primary
They let Paul be in second place in Nevada. It's only a gimmick. The election is a manipulated one. Ron Paul is an unfavorable of the Inside Group. His loss is designated by a rigging election though he should have won the election if there was an honest voting system.
The Nevada case is a trick to cheat people.
1. A small state won't affect the general election. So they award you a second place to show it's "democratic". A second place means nothing in campaign.
2. It's a tactic to lure more money from people of grievance(to urge Paul's supporters continue to donate more money. That money finally will go to media's wallet.) to support its propaganda machine. After all, you won't win. So why not squeeze more money from you by increasing your confidence a little bit.
3. To show people that the election is fair. He is an unfavorable, he was still in second place. That proves our system is fair. But the reality is, Paul may be the leading candidate in Iowa, New Hampshire and other states. They(Feds) moved his votes to his rival's.

Turn a "change" current to "unchange" (1/30/08)
Demo and GOP are the two puppets of Feds in domestic. Bin Laden is the puppet abroad. All three are tools of the inside group.
Puppet Demo and puppet GOP competes to give more money and power to DOD and DOJ. Bush gave more, he gave Feds Patriot Act and warrantless evaesdropping and fat budget and Mid-east wars, so he is awarded two terms of president. Puppet Bin Laden acted as a whip to hit the people. When people are hurt, they give up their civil rights and money and power to DOD and DOJ. That's why Bin Laden can never been captured. When government is (either GOP or Demo) authorized a police power or military fund, they need Bin Laden's Al Qaida to help to push it. The leading candidates of two parties, John McCain and Hillary Clinton, were early prominent supporters of the Iraq War. When the mainstream public opinion is to change the status quo, these status quo remains unchange. So Bush's spirit will succeeded by a new president. The three puppets show will go on in stage. And another war in Mid-east - Iran war, is at sight.
This is how the Inside group skillfully carry out their policy by a twisted election system.
This is a covert totalitarian country. They select president by rigged election. (They control the voting office by intelligence) and justify the result by fake poll. (They manipulate public opinion by media)

Old wine in new bottle (2/18/07) Feds is using same technique they have used in Kerry-Bush 04 election? By first said Kerry leading over Bush a little bit. (media propaganda) Then awarded him a defeat with a close margin. (rigged election) do you believe that after Bush's yearule, GOP candidate still get even with Demo? They pick up Obama in Demo's campaign because he fits for a propaganda that Americans not ready for a black president? Consider media is only a tool of US ruling class and the ruling class doesn't like Obama's policy (withdraw from Iraq). Why does the media now push Obama as a hot issue ? It is a tactic to put a weak candidate to Demo's chair so it will be easy for them to justify another rigged election - McCain defeats Obama because Americans are not ready for a black president. A.P. tell you such a ridiculous poll that McCain is about even with Obama and Hillary. A propaganda for another Republican president? Quote, "Obama narrowly leads McCain in AP poll By ALAN FRAM and TREVOR TOMPSON, Associated Press Writers Mon Feb 11, 6:36 PM ET WASHINGTON - Democrat Barack Obama would narrowly defeat Republican John McCain if they were matched today in the presidential election, while McCain and Hillary Rodham Clinton are running about even, according to new general-election sentiment since the Super Tuesday contests. Split Demo. (3/11/08)
When Obama carried a flag of victory by taking the primary in 10 states, Hillary Clinton's fate seemed to be decided. Yet, she recovered by winning the Ohio and Texas. I think it is the result of a rigged election. The voting machine and election office are controlled by Feds. They let out the result of the votes counting. To split the Demo is their tactic. So they help Hillary to keep on rival against Obama.
A split Demo will help Republican in final election.
Hillary and Obama have to spend their campaign fund in an internal competition. Either one wins out finally, the fund would have been exhausted already. At that time, the candidate of the Demo will face to a well prepared GOP candidate.
We can also see media, or some aids of the two camps try to provoke a conflict between Obama and Clinton by negative propaganda. They try to develop a big conflict to split the Demo. At that time the big benificiary will be GOP.
So Feds will go on manipulating the Demo primary to make it a close campaign till the very end .

I am hoping Hillary runs as an independent. 30% of Democrats seem to agree. I think what we have is historical coalitions of both parties breaking up. It was noticeable with the Reps and now very clearly with Obama - Hillary. I do not think those coalitions can be put back together without voter disenfranchisement.
The divisions are real irregardless of Rep intentions. Obama not only has a bitter working class to contend with, but bitter senior citizens, bitter women, bitter Latinos, bitter gays etc.
At this time if forced to chose McCain would win out. At least he seems willing to put tariffs on the table. With more fair trade Democrats things could begin to turn around. With Obama I see blind trade coming back in full force.

Prepare the justification for a rigged election (3/24/08)
Bush was awarded the president of US in 2000. Even Clinton did a good job in his term. There was a historical surplus when Bill left the White House. Yet the Inside Group gave the seat to Bush. Because what they needed was a soulless puppet who willingly to satisfy citizens' lives for Mid-east war. (he activated false flag 911 attack)
Bush was awarded the President of US again in 2004. Because he was proved an obedient puppet. And the Group needed more war - war on Iran. Even he was known as a big swindler whom lied into Iraq war.
How could this happen? Because Feds controls election office. They rigged election to select any candidate who is their favorite. The rest work is left for media which issued fake poll to convince public the election was a fair one.
Of course, they need some justification. No matter how reluctant it was. One trick is to creat a spoiler. In previous two election. That figure was Ralph Nader.
To comfort voters in a rigged election, Feds made each election a closed competition. You almost won, with only a little margin you failed. There was someone to blame - the spoiler - he took away the votes Demo needed.
For the third time, the old tactic will be used again. But is this trick too old to cheat public? I think of Ron Paul. Ron Paul might be another product of the Feds used to replace Ralph Nader. Only Bush is so notorious that when Paul has his policy to the public, there was a crazy wave for Ron Paul. Feds is frightened. So they go back to Nader.
I think so is because although there is a crazy movement for Paul, the media and election office did their best to oppress the movement. They try to limit it a small one as Nader's. Feds need a justification of rigged election but not a big one to threat the result. Also Ron Paul and his campaign aids never care for a real victory. When there was trace that the primary was rigged, Paul's team didn't seriously care. They know what their role is in this campaign. That finally makes this election another puppet show.

Bush, the worst president The question is how could this worst president in US history be elected twice? It is because this country is a covert totalitarian country. The system is controled by Feds. They selected president by rigged election, and justify it by fake poll of media. Quote, "By Susan Page <http://www.usatoday.com/community/tags/reporter.aspx?id=602>, USA TODAY WASHINGTON - President Bush has set a record he'd presumably prefer to avoid: the highest disapproval rating of any president in the 70-year history of the Gallup Poll. In a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll taken Friday through Sunday, 28% of Americans approve of the job Bush is doing; 69% disapprove. The approval rating matches the low point of his presidency, and the disapproval sets a new high for any president since Franklin Roosevelt. The previous record of 67% was reached by Harry Truman in January 1952, when the United States was enmeshed in the Korean War. www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2008-04-21-bushrating_N.htm?csp=34

The 2008 Presidential Election has been rigged ever since the MSM began referring to John McCain as the "presumptive nominee" and Barack Obama as the "Democratic nominee."
There's something less appealing about the reference presumptive opposed to democratic, almost as if the former is a stain or infection and the latter the cure all.
...like some of the voters in Florida did in 2000, I'm registering all my dead relatives and following the Dem suggestion that come election time (by in person / absentee ballot), I'll be voting early and often. ;D

I believe so. The whole election is a puppet show unless you have a fair election system. That is to count the votes at the presence of the voters.
All the apples they give you are rotten. You have to pick up one that looks like not that rotten. Remember most Americans dislike the Iraq war. Yet they gave you Kerry and Clinton whom both voted for Iraq war power authorization Bill. Made you have no choice. That's why Obama can make a way in campaign. Even that victory is one after hard working.
But is Obama that good? I am afraid not. Let's watch how this puppet show going on.

Tim Russert was murdered for 911 truth? Quote, "Tim Russert's Death Was Russert another casualty of WMD damage control and the Plame Game? by Salvador Astucia, June 23, 2008 Tim Russert's sudden death is one of the most troubling high-profile deaths in recent times. There can be little doubt that Russert had enemies in high places, and they may have feared they would be indicted as war criminals if Russert was not stopped. With Israel's current saber rattling, an Israeli strike against Iran seems eminent, with support from the Bush Administration. When such things are being planned, the plotters must get their propaganda machinery in place prior to the attack. This could be another reason for Mr. Russert's sudden demise. ........ Russert hinted on Meet the Press that 9/11 was an inside job. On the June 1st, 2008 airing of Meet the Press, Tim Russert subtly opened the discussion of 9-11 being an inside job. He did this by reading a passage from guest Scott McClellan's book, What Happened(?) - Inside the Bush White House and Washington's Culture of Deception. He read the passage, then he pressed McClellan to say when the Bush Administration first made the decision to invade Iraq. Here is the exchange between Russert and McClellan: surftofind.com/mystery

Clean the mess - cover up operation (8/1/08) As Bush's term faces its last months, his regime has to clean the mess they have made. Quote, "Information Clearing House Publisher Threatened Mike Whitney - Fly by News August 6, 2008 My friend Tom Feeley is in Big trouble. He runs the web site informationclearinghouse.info which updates "news you won't find in the corporate media" every day. The site is strongly anti-war. Tom has gotten his share of death threats over the years, but what happened this week is a lot more serious. Two days ago, Tom's wife found three well dressed men in their kitchen. The man who did all the talking, told Tom's wife (I won't give her name) that Tom must "Stop what he is doing on the Internet, NOW!" As crazy as it sounds, he pulled back his lapel and showed her a gun of some kind which she could not identify. Like I said, Tom has been threatened before, but nothing like this. 4 years ago, he was in a parking lot at Long's Drug store in Southern California and when he tried to open his door to get out, a man in a car next to him opened his door at precisely the same time which prevented Tom from getting out. Then, a 40-ish year old man got out of the passenger side of the vehicle and approached Tom saying, "You need to stop what you are doing on the web". Tom said the man was overweight and had his shirt untucked. Tom was taken aback, but (after collecting himself said) "What the fuck? Who do you think you are telling me what I can do?" The man answered, "Tom, I'm just giving you some good advice. You should take my advice, Tom." This is all I know about the incident. Since, then, there have been occassional death threats, but nothing like what happened on Sunday. Tom's wife is hysterical and has not returned to the house since the incident. She contacted the FBI but the FBI said their was nothing they could do. Tom and his wife separated recently after a 30 year marraige, so he is publishing from a different location. The well-dressed man told Tom's wife that he knew where her son lived, what line of work he was in, and how many children he had. Last night, Tom's son and a friend cruised the neighborhood where his mother lives to see if anything strange was going on. They came across two men in a car a half-block from their mother's home using their laptops at roughly 12:30 AM. When Tom's son and friend approached them, the car sped off. Tom, does not know whether this is connected to his situation, but it is definitely suspicious. I talked to Tom this morning and he is getting by, but he's clearly upset. I do not know his plans, but I know he is ditching his cell phone and (I assume) will have to go underground as much as possible. He plans to keep publishing. I'll tell you this about Tom Feeley; he is no bullshitter. He is the "real deal" and completely committed to exposing the mob that is presently running our country. He does not understand why, (as he says) "They are reaching down SO far to get someone who just runs web site". But, the truth is, they are. Someone wants him to "shut up" and they apparently have the muscle to do it. He knows he is in danger. I will probably only hear from Tom infrequently from this point on. But I will update information as I get it. Tom, knows some of the best writers on the Internet---many of them speak out regularly and forcefully on issues of civil liberties and war. Anything they can do to draw attention to Tom's situation will greatly improve his chances of getting through this ordeal safely. Beyond that, I have no idea of what can be done to help. Mike Whitney www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/print.asp?ID=9111Will it make a difference to ask help from FBI? The men may come from the same office. This is a covert totalitarian country when the terrorists are state police. They control your mind by media. When someone tells the truth to people, their lives are threatened.

Feds used to cheat people by faked poll. That's why notorious Bush could be selected twice. But it's hard to change the money amount. Then it becomes conflict once the fake poll meet with the donation amount. Study: Troops Deployed Abroad Gave Six Times More To Obama Than To McCain By Greg Sargent - August 14, 2008, 11:22AM This is really, really perplexing. It turns out that according to a new analysis <http://www.opensecrets.org/news/2008/08/troops-deployed-abroad-give-61.html>, troops deployed abroad have donated six times more money to the candidate who wants to bring the troops home from Iraq: According to an analysis of campaign contributions by the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics, Democrat Barack Obama has received nearly six times as much money from troops deployed overseas at the time of their contributions than has Republican John McCain, and the fiercely anti-war Ron Paul, though he suspended his campaign for the Republican nomination months ago, has received more than four times McCain's haul. Despite McCain's status as a decorated veteran and a historically Republican bent among the military, members of the armed services overall -- whether stationed overseas or at home -- are also favoring Obama with their campaign contributions in 2008, by a $55,000 margin. Although 59 percent of federal contributions by military personnel has gone to Republicans this cycle, of money from the military to the presumed presidential nominees, 57 percent has gone to Obama. Interestingly, the analysis notes that in 2000, George W. Bush outraised Al Gore by two to one among military personnel, but in 2004, with the war underway, John Kerry closed the gap somewhat. Now, with the war having gone on for more than five years, the Dem has an overwhelming advantage among troops abroad Contributions from U.S. Troops Deployed Abroad Recipient .................. To prevent his family members to rise in power to investigate the truth of murder, the other member of Kennedy's family either was murdered or intimidated when they dare to gain power politically. So we saw Robert Kennedy was murdered before he could win a president campaign. And a scandal prevented Senator Ted Kennedy to join a president election. Jacklin died early in her 60s because she knew something about her husband's death. Jr. Kennedy died in a misterious air plane accident. Now Kennedy's daughter was intimidated when she tried to test that forbidden area. On 1/20, Ted Kennedy was sent to hospital after he had a seisure in Obama's Inauguration Ceremony. The warning was the result of an high tech. EM wave weapon. One day later, we saw the news: Quote, "Kennedy Drops Bid for Senate Seat 1/22/09 A person who worked closely with Caroline Kennedy says her decision to abruptly withdraw her bid for New York's Senate seat was unrelated to the poor health of her uncle, Massachusetts Sen. Edward Kennedy. news.aol.com/article/kennedy-withdraws-senate-bid/313916Is that particular description - "unrelated" ridiculous?

Quote, "Poor Joe the Plumber Looks Lonely at His Own Book Signing Posted by Melissa McEwan February 27, 2009. Wow. The event was scheduled to last three hours, but ended after 55 minutes, with Joe having sold a total of five books. www.alternet.org/blogs/peek/129297/poor_joe_the_plumber_looks_lonely_at_his_own_book_signing/How media to cheat public Though media makes him a popular figure, he is actually not a welcome man. Or he doesn't represent the grass root people. His story is only a soap opera conducted by GOP for their campaign. He became popular because media is controlled by Republican and they need to show that Republican Party supported by grass root people. But all that is only a propaganda. A book signing tells it all. After all Republican Party is for the interest of rich people, they are minor in US. They could win the election because they control the media and the intelligence. They selected politicians such like Bush by rigged election (becuase they control intelligence) and justify the result by fake poll. (they control media).

Fat cat profit from Iraq war When they attacked Daschel on his tax problem, GOP never talked a bit of how much money they embezzled from Iraq. That may be the reason why GOP is so fond of "war on terror". Because they always profit from a conflict, from fat budget of defense to profitable contract. Ordinary people pay tax. Selected politicians vote for war. Fat cats make profit. That's US politics. Quote, "A 'fraud' bigger than Madoff Senior US soldiers investigated over missing Iraq reconstruction billions By Patrick Cockburn in Sulaimaniyah, Northern Iraq In what could turn out to be the greatest fraud in US history, American authorities have started to investigate the alleged role of senior military officers in the misuse of $125bn (£88bn) in a US -directed effort to reconstruct Iraq after the fall of Saddam Hussein. The exact sum missing may never be clear, but a report by the US Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction (SIGIR) suggests it may exceed $50bn, making it an even bigger theft than Bernard Madoff's notorious Ponzi scheme. "I believe the real looting of Iraq after the invasion was by US officials and contractors, and not by people from the slums of Baghdad," said one US businessman active in Iraq since 2003. .... The end of the Bush administration which launched the war may give fresh impetus to investigations into frauds in which tens of billions of dollars were spent on reconstruction with little being built that could be used. In the early days of the occupation, well-connected Republicans were awarded jobs in Iraq, regardless of experience. A 24-year-old from a Republican family was put in charge of the Baghdad stock exchange which had to close down because he allegedly forgot to renew the lease on its building...... Often sums paid out in cash were never recorded. In one case, an American soldier put in charge of reviving Iraqi boxing gambled away all the money but he could not be prosecuted because, although the money was certainly gone, nobody had recorded if it was $20,000 or $60,000. www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/a-fraud-bigger-than-madoff-1622987.html

Pentagon's psychological war on public. It has 27,000 people work to influence your opinion. Quote, "27,000 Work in Pentagon PR and Recruiting By Noah Shachtman Email February 05, 2009 Pao_logo2 Forget the drone stuff. Here is your eye-popping statistic of the day: "This year, the Pentagon will employ 27,000 people just for recruitment, advertising and public relations - almost as many as the total 30,000-person work force in the State Department." That's from an Associated Press investigation, "which found that over the past five years, the money the military spends on winning hearts and minds at home and abroad has grown by 63 percent, to at least $4.7 billion this year." blog.wired.com/defense/2009/02/27000-work-in-p.html

Spy country Quote, "Soros funds infiltration of 9/11 truth, election protection, and independent journalism By Wayne Madsen Online Journal Contributing Writer Feb 20, 2009, 00:2 (WMR) -- WMR has learned from well-placed sources that international hedge fund mogul and financier of progressive causes George Soros has been, for a number of years, infiltrating 9/11 truth organizations, groups advocating election reform, and so-called independent journalism enterprises in order to hijack agendas and, eventually, cause the groups to collapse from within or be absorbed into larger organizations servile to Soros and his agenda. By far, the largest group Soros and his allies has infiltrated and taken over is the Democratic Party of the United States. It now totally adheres to a corporatist line and has purged from its leadership Dr. Howard Dean and replaced him with Virginia Governor Tim Kaine, a Democratic Leadership Council adherent. The Soros faction and its allies has also seen to it that Bill Richardson, Caroline Kennedy, and others who represent the Democratic wing of the Democratic Party have been shut out of the Obama administration. In many ways, Soros operation is strikingly similar to the FBIs former Counter-Intelligence Program, also known as COINTELPRO. There is also ample evidence that Soros program is linked to Israeli intelligence operations in the United States and that some presidential campaigns in 2008 were infiltrated by the joint operation, including those of Democratic candidate and former Senator Mike Gravel, and Republican candidate Ron Paul. Soros operations, according to our sources, involve his Open Society Institute, as well as Soros Fund Management LLC, in which his son, Jonathan Soros, plays a leading role. For Soros, his political operations in America are much the same as they are in places like Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Romania, and other countries: divide, confuse the political sides, and conquer. The modus operandi is that Soros operatives either help establish progressive organizations or join them after they are established with a new infusion of a modest to substantial funding. The agenda of the organization is then altered to make it look either like a far-out conspiracy association or the infiltrators of the organization create internecine battles between factions or tamp down its fervor. In some cases, the organizations ultimately cease to exist or are combined with other Soros-controlled or influenced organizations. In the case of alternative journalism operations, Soros operatives launch attacks, some of them highly personal, against bona fide independent journalists and question their sources and investigations. WMR has been a primary target for such operations, according to sources familiar with Soros tactics. Soros agents of disinformation and influence have moved in to manage the stories about jailed Alabama Democratic Governor Don Siegelman, the 2004 vote fraud in Ohio, the Turkish and Israeli intelligence penetration of the highest echelons of the U.S. government, the presence of Israeli spies among the accused 9/11 hijackers in the months prior to the terrorist attacks in 2001, and Russian-Israeli Kosher Nostra criminal activity from London to Kyiv and New York to Moscow. Overall, Soros operations are primarily focused on controlling the left through the use of censors and online gatekeepers in the media operations he funds. Recipients of Soros money are found running web sites, some of them well known; hosting TV and radio programs; and writing regularly for major periodicals. onlinejournal.com/artman/publish/article_4391.shtml

A prison country Study: 7.3 million in U.S. prison system in '07 (CNN) -- A record number of Americans served time in corrections systems across the country in 2007, according to a report released Monday by the Pew Center on the States. The U.S. correctional population -- those in jail, prison, on probation or on parole -- totaled 7.3 million, or 1 in every 31 adults. The Pew Center on the States compiled the information from Justice Department and Census Bureau statistics. America's prison <http://topics.edition.cnn.com/topics/prisons> population has skyrocketed over the past quarter century. In 1982, 1 in 77 adults were in the correctional system in one form or another, totaling 2.2 million people. The United States has 5 percent of the world's population, but 25 percent of the world's prison inmates, the center said. edition.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/03/02/record.prison.population/index.html?iref=topnews

Value for torture
It's kind of funny to argue on such a moral topic. Morality can't be traded. But American enable it with a value.
Torture/waterboarding works. Yes, so are other illegal things. You will have proof that Rape/murder works too. And you can defend that FBI imposed very tight restrictions on the use of torture.....
Only please you don't accuse Hitler for Facist or Saddam for torture, because they just do same thing you approved.
And because some people who think they are the outlaw and can do what ever they want to and justify their crime by "it works" or "value".
That's why President Kennedy was assassinated, so was Rober Kennedy. And Dr. Martin L. King. Because for insiders, the victim are " subject to additional limits" and up to someone's "value".
Thanks for those who boast "patriot" admit of the two standards. Hitler, Stalin, Mao Tze Tung and Kin Jong Ir gave themseves the same right openly. That's totalitarian. Bush is justified by someone like Yoo, that's democratic. Is there any difference when they did same thing? In the name of value? Or you will find some excuse to say if it was done by "them", then it's savage, inhuman but when "I" did it, it's for the value of ... eh "pratriotism", "democracy"?

The purpose of torture
Zhubadh talked after 35 seconds. Why still being waterboarded 83 times? --CIA wanted some "desired words". What kind of "desired words"?
Mohammed was waterboarded 183 times in March 2003. -- Still remember the time to invade Iraq? March 23 2003.
Now read the following comment, you know what the purpose for torture:

To legalize the torture, government issued document in mid 2002. Then we saw Libi, Zhubadah, and Mohammed were tortured until March 2003 when Bush invaded Iraq. Obviously to force "desired words" from the victime to justify Iraq war.

Quote, "Waterboarding as Torture in U.S. Law The former Bush/Cheney administration and its apologists in the media continue to claim that it is an open question as to whether “waterboarding” (immobilizing a person, pouring water over his/her face and breathing passages, suffocating him/her and leading him/her to believe he/she will die) is torture and forbidden in U.S. law. The question is ridiculous. Waterboarding (as it is now called) is one of the oldest known forms of torture. In the 1500s it was used in the Spanish Inquisition. In 1898, an American soldier (Captain Edwin F. Glenn) used the technique (then called the “water cure”) on a prisoner captured in the Philippines during the Spanish-American War. When reported, Americans were shocked and protests led to Elihu Root, U.S. Secretary of War (now called Secretary of Defense) ordered Glenn court-martialed in 1902 and imprisoned. A general under whose command this and other tortures occurred was court-martialed and removed from the army. During WWII, both the Gestapo and some Japanese soldiers used waterboarding as a form of torture. The Japanese were tried after the war and at least one hung by U.S. forces for waterboarding U.S. Airman Chase J. Nielsen. Waterboarding was declared illegal by U.S. generals during the Vietnam War. When a journalist photgraphed an American soldier helping two South Vietnamese soldiers waterboard a captured North Vietnames soldier, and published in the Washington Post in 1968, it caused outrage across the United States. The soldier was court-martialed and dishonorably discharged from the U.S. army. In 1983, Texas sheriff James Parker was sentenced to ten years in prison and his deputies to four years apiece for waterboarding prisoners. When his case came up for clemency years later, then Gov. George W. Bush refused to pardon Sheriff Parker, specifically stating that no one is above the law. In 1988, U.S. President Ronald Reagan signed the United Nations Convention Against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman, or Degrading Treatment, or Punishment of 1984. It was ratified by the U.S. Senate in 1994. Since the U.S. Constitution classifies all treaties that the U.S. signs and ratifies as sharing the Constitution’s status as “highest law of the land,” then the U.S. must follow the Convention Against Torture’s provisions, including those which demand prosecution of those who authorize and those who implement torture. It also forbids the U.S. to ship people to other countries that practice torture (”rendition”) and the Bush administration was guilty of that, also. The reluctance of the Obama administration to try those responsible is rooted in several factors: Such trials would be highly controversial. The Washington Post published a poll today showing that Americans are about evenly divided over whether or not to have such trials. Although law enforcement is not decided by popularity, the Obama administration has to pass many pieces of legislation that will take all the public support he can muster. The Republicans have already hinted that if the Obama administration tries anyone in the Bush administration, they will consider it “engaging in criminalizing policy differences” and they will investigate Democratic administrations when they get back in power. But the consequences of refusing to try these cases could be even worse: Members of the Bush administration could be indicted by the International Criminal Court or by the courts of other nations under the “global jurisdiction” where human rights violations are concerned. This would put the Obama administration in the awkward position of either arresting and extraditing former Bush officials, including, maybe the former president himself or of defying international law. If nothing else came of that, it would, at the very least, impede Obama’s attempts to rebuild America’s alliances abroad. It also undermines his attempts to re-set our relations with the Muslim world. Failing to prosecute violaters of human rights, no matter how highly placed, invites human rights abuses on Americans traveling abroad, whether civilian or military. If members of the Bush administration travel abroad, they could be arrested and prosecuted by others with potential for a huge international incident. Failure to prosecute violaters of human rights in the Bush administration makes it likely that a future administration will repeat these practices. In fact, by calling them “policy differences” GOP torture apologists are already hinting that they will restart torture when their party wins the White House, again. And their horror at the release of the torture memos as “exposing to our enemies the limits of American practices” seem to indicate they will try other practices in their place (electric shock to the genitals? bamboo shoots under fingernails? ). Not too long ago (before 11 Sept. 2001), this was not controversial. No one argued for the U.S. using torturing. Nor did anyone argue that “enhanced interrogation techniques” were not really torture. This was not a liberal vs. conservative, left vs. right, or Democratic vs. Republican issue. So, the current debate means that America has lost its way morally. To that extent, the use of these torture techniques by the Bush administration and the fact that Americans find the use of torture or prosecution of torturers controversial, means that the terrorists have won-at least in part. Trying torturers, no matter who they are, is necessary for us to regain some degree of moral clarity. levellers.wordpress.com/2009/04/26/waterboarding-as-torture-in-us-law/
