Go to ABC Good Morning America link below - and go to the video section on the right hand side and click "Tough Questions for Mattel" Listen to how evasive Eckart is in this interview. The reporter actually did his job and asked the tough questions. He was asked at least three times how much money are they making producing in china and Eckart refuses to answer. It is clear that Mattel puts profits ahead of children's safety abcnews.go.com/gma

So there are 72 different toys by Mattel that parents need to be on the alert for, due to safety concerns.
The moderator made the point on how difficult it is for any parents to determine exactly which toys they need to remove. Or to put it differently, which of the many toys they have are a safety hazard.
It's certainly difficult for parents to determine which of the many toys their children have are defective or unsafe--when there are 72 different toys involved, according to Mattel's CEO.
I do have a suggesting to prevent future problems.
Don't buy any more Mattel toys. Ever.

I would suggest that parents NOT send back or discard suspect toys - if there is ever a need for a lawsuit if their child is poisoned or injured you will need them for evidence.
