You won't have to, the Stimulus bill now contains several amendments that will take health care decisions out of the hands of your doctor and put them into hands of a Federal government employee with medical training whatsoever.
Just like its done in Canada and other countries with socialized medicine.
IOW its Federally mandated medical care rationing. No longer will you have to worry about your HMO deciding its time for you to be denied care so as to hasten your demise. Thanks to sociopathic scumbags like Daschle who think we spend too money on patients, You know the guy who makes comments like this:
Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them So forget about grandma and grandpa getting treated for fragile bones.
The goal is to slow the development and use of new medications and technologies because they are driving up costs Ok, so fuck innovation and research into new drugs, procedures, etc because they cost money. But its ok to pump trillions into Wall Street.
Leave it to the Democrats to make Bush look like a man of moderation and intellect.

It was debunked on Doberachel tonight. They both run as one show on my tivo, so I can get confused. Bu$h appointed this czar in 2004. . The NY bimbo Caseigh, who started the whole charade, misquoted the wording in the bill to top if off. She's on the dole of big pharma.
If given such an awful choice, I'd rather have a govt bureaucrat making my medical decisions than an HMO that profits by denying care.

An HMO's motivation is exclusively to reduce costs by reducing medical care. The government couldn't possibly be as bad as an HMO, even if it tried.
