CA 11.2% jobless in March The CA jobless rate is much worse than I expected at this point. I shutter to think how bad it will be in The Crisis in The Fall of 2009. ============================================================= California's Jobless Rate Rose to 11.2% in March WSJ ^ | APRIL 17, 2009 | STU WOO California's unemployment rate jumped up to 11.2% in March, as the nation's most-populous state lost 62,100 jobs during the month. The rate climbed from a revised 10.6% level in February and is well above the national unemployment rate of 8.5% in March, according to a state report released Friday. The report said there were 2,080,000 unemployed Californians in March, up 913,000 compared with March of last year. ============================================================ Michigan leads nation at 12.6%, while Oregon shoots to second worst at 12.1%.
