Global warming does not exist, at least for the last 11 years as the Earth's temperature has declined. The lying, corrupt government refuses to provide the data from publicly paid for research. ===================================================== Researcher: NASA hiding climate data ... NASA has refused for two years to provide information under the Freedom of Information Act that would show how the agency has shaped its climate data and would explain why the agency has repeatedly had to correct its data going as far back as the 1930s. The numbers matter. Under pressure in 2007, NASA recalculated its data and found that 1934, not 1998, was the hottest year in its records for the contiguous 48 states. NASA later changed that data again, and now 1998 and 2006 are tied for first, with 1934 slightly cooler. ...For now, climate scientists are rallying around the British researchers [that declares there is global warming]. NASA's GISS was forced to update its data in 2007 after questions were raised by Steve McIntyre, who runs ClimateAudit.com. GISS had initially listed the warmest years as 1998, 1934, 2006, 1921 and 1931. After Mr. McIntyre's questions GISS rejiggered the list and 1934 was warmest, followed by 1998, 1921, 2006 and then 1931. But since then, the list has been rewritten again so it now runs 1998, 2006, 1934, 1921, 1999. NASA and CRU data are considered the backbone of much of the science that suggests the earth is warming due to manmade greenhouse gas emissions. NASA argues its data suggests this decade has been the warmest on record. On the other hand, data from the University of Alabama-Huntsville suggests temperatures have been relatively flat for most of this decade. www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/dec/03/researcher-says-nasa-hiding-climate-data/

Australia is going into its 13th year of drought.

Its about cooking the books, silencing critics in the scientific community and destroying the raw data from which they derived their results so other scientists couldn't replicate their work.
So I couldn't care less if some of their Lysenkoist minions are now using the drought Down Under to make their case given their rank dishonesty.
They had their chance to make their case honestly and instead played gutter politics and engaged in fraud.

The Green Commies have been exposed as to what they really are, commies.
I knew they were screwing around with the raw data and manipulating the results. Global Warming is nothing more then the Urban Heat Island Effect. Raw data from the Urban Heat Island effect shows warming, but the "globe" isn't warming the cities are as they get bigger.
These Greens are the false prophets of science. False prophets have always taken something pure and good and twisted it into something evil.

What with a slow-moving storm spreading snow, sleet and rain across the nation's midsection glazed roads and disrupted flights Thursday, making last-minute holiday travel treacherous but promising a white Christmas for some.
The National Weather Service issued blizzard warnings for parts of Oklahoma, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Texas. It cautioned that travel would be extremely dangerous in those areas through the weekend and that drivers should pack a winter survival kit including flashlight and water in case of emergency.
Slippery roads were blamed for at least 12 deaths since Tuesday and officials cautioned they would only get worse, particularly after dark.
Winter storm warnings were in effect across the the Plains and the Midwest, with a foot or two of snow possible in some areas by Christmas Day. By Thursday afternoon, parts of southeastern Minnesota had already gotten 8 inches.
The storm began in the southwest — where blizzard-like conditions shut down roads and caused a pileup involving 20 vehicles in Arizona on Tuesday — and spread east and north, causing weather advisories from the Rocky Mountains to Lake Michigan.
Slick, icy roads were blamed for accidents that killed at six people in Nebraska, four in Kansas, one in Minnesota and one near Albuquerque, N.M. A dust storm south of Phoenix set off a series of collisions that killed at least three people Tuesday.
The same system was bringing heavy rain and powerful thunderstorms to parts of the Gulf Coast and farther inland. Officials in Arkansas closed part of Interstate 30 south of Little Rock on Thursday because of flooding after two days of heavy rain. High winds toppled a tree onto a home in Louisiana, killing a man, authorities said.
Strong winds and ice caused power outages in Nebraska, Illinois and Iowa.
I'm thinking with all the severe weather working across the United States and most of the worst wintery weather in more than 60 years, there are quite a few people who'd like a little bit of global warming right about now. Don't you?
;D

If you've ever been through an upper Midwest winter, you would know it has to warm up to snow. Madison, Wisc, area got record winter snowfall two year ago.

The biggest issue with global warming/climate change is the fact that weather patterns will be altered and crop production might be affected as a result. The extremity of recent storms is actually exhibit A in the arguments that global warming exists.
come on cactus jack, your posts usually have more intelligence than this.
PS. here in kentucky where some of my family lives, snow is becoming a more rare site every year.

As someone who considers himself a environmentalist. The Greenies as far as I'm concerned have wrecked the movement with their blatant hypocrisy demonstrated at Copenhagen. From leading environmental whackos showing up in Lear Jets because they can't bothered to travel with the hoi-poloi in business class then having a gas guzzling limo deliver to their convention center like some 3rd world dictator.
Look, if they were sincere they wouldn't have done this. But they aren't, it was all a racket for these people so they wouldn't have to work for a living.
Then the shake down by 3rd world piss ants and degenerates like Chavez, Mugabe for a $100 billion a year in compensation from the west.
It may as well been another UN convention for all it was worth.
That said, there are serious environmental changes occurring from the 200 year drought of the American south-west, to deforestation of the Amazon and Central America by cattle ranchers(for export to the U.S.) and lumber companies. Add to the mix a general water shortage and over population in the 3rd world.
These and others will never get addressed thanks to the frauds in environmental movement. A movement that from the looks of it was never really interested in saving the environment at all but instead was a movement to enrich the its organizers.

The bottomline for the whole climate change (e.g. global warming) issue has nothing to do with temperatures, seasons, polar ice, ocean conveyors, or sea levels, it's totally about redistribution of wealth and centralization of power. Nothing more!
