He had a good interview with Steve Crofts. The best part was his anger at the $30 Billion in bankster bonuses. Maybe he's waking up and will fire Summers, Geithner, et al. Volker is still making good noises, who he should be listening to.
Unlike Rummy, who used a rubber stamp for his signature on letters of condolences to family members of the fallen, Obama says he signs every one. He told the story of the parents who wrote back and wanted to visit the WhiteHouse, so he sat down with them. When he found out they were headed to Camp Lejeune to visit the widow and children, he took them on Air Force One, as he was giving a speech there at the same time.
The guy is human, and not a Yale Skull and Bones aristocrat. They say all his best speeches are the ones he has written. His speech at Oslo was one of his better ones. Of course, you won't know any of that if you watch only Faux News.
ABC had Oprah with the First Family in the White House last night. It was even more revealing of who Obama is.

rather have solutions than emotions. Still, the fact that BofA and now Chase are aggressively trying to free themselves from Tarp funds means something is happening behind the scenes. But the big ones are AIG and Goldman Sachs, I want to see them smacked with the reality stick.
meh- I've never found these little acts appealing. I'm sure it was an important experience for those involved, but it doesn't address the larger issue.
And this is probably the worst thing about the effects of rightwing arguments in regards to this presidency. Instead of arguing over WHAT and HOW, the right wing is still arguing over WHO, and the administration wastes its time on these pieces.

He did a nice job with the rhetoric but then today he's chummin with the bankers. Obama is to the banks as oil was to Bush. Remember in the campaign. He gave a speech most progressives saw as anti free trade. But what started out as a minor critique ended with an expansion of those same policies. The man has skill, he's likable enough, but you must watch him closely.

ULC can you do something about that idiot who hijacked my screen name and is posting nothing but Obama kool aid.'
That said Obama is a horses ass and major league hypocrite. The SOB from the get go has been a puppet of Wall Street and the rich. He's surrounded himself with some of the most crooked Wall Street pukes as economic advisers as can be found. Rubin, Geithner, Goolsebee, Cutler, Liebman, and a shit load of G-S squids.
He lets Geithner get away with repeatedly with refusing to answer questions posed by Congressmen on serious financial issues. The same thing with that "moral hazard" Bernanke.
This guy is Bush's 3rd term on steroids.
Not once has he stood up for working and middle-class Americans in his political career. Obama is all about Obama and nothing else.
F**king kleptocratic tool.

His oratory skills are in the same class as Lincoln, Roosevelt, and Reagen. I believe that he will be remembered in tomorrows history books, as our greatest President to date. I am constantly impressed with how he is capable of analyzing things, and he comes up with the very same conclusions that I do. He was very lucky to be raised for a time, by his grandparents. They were from the greatest generation, and I recognize that thoughtful, loving, strong, wise and honorable attributes that, that generation had. I too was raised for a time by my grandparents and they were from the same generation. Every time I hear him speak, I hear my grandparents words. I think that the world hears these words, and remembers back to a time, when we had a few strong and intelligent leaders. I am with them in hoping that Obama can help to bring peace, prosperity and a little saneness, back into, this crazy out of control world. Ohh Obama ohh, change is here for you to take. OK. That's enough. These are not the words of the original "waltc." You need to explain why you've assumed someone else's ID, since I've already been alerted by waltc that someone has stolen his ID. Change your ID to something different, or I'm going to delete your posts and your membership. Admin (unlawflcombatnt)

This Sunday the CBS propaganda machine that continues to run pro-Obama rhetoric will be taking another tact -- using a disgruntled McCain political advisor to discredit former Veep-candidate Sarah Palin.
My question is if the donkeycrats are not concerned about Mrs Palin as they claim to be, why run the piece?
Maybe to change Americans mindset swirling around criticisms aimed at BHO and his administration in the current security issues connected with the "panty pants bomber.?"

I'm still shocked the Republicans would be so stupid as to put her up for VP. I guess they knew for sure McSame was losing, so why not add some entertainment value.

The Demis don't want attention on Obama who is busy showing the country he's nothing but a Mahogany Player Piano with Ivory keys that plays whatever tune people like Bob Rubin, Emanuel and Bernanke feed him. This why the liberal MSM and liberal writers like Tiabbi regularly do smear stories on her.
Though in the end it doesn't matter since the economy and jobs situation is disaster with no signs of improving and people aren't buying anti-working class Democrat bullshit anymore.

Obamabush III: the same banksters from Gold Sachs as Bush II, Clinton, and on back. They've all been anti-working class, and will continue to be. Obama, not of the privileged class of Bushes, just encouraged greater expectations. The election is was anti-Bush. Hillary or Biden would have done about as well.
It's not a smear story when it's the truth. "Africa the country or Africa the continent; what's the difference," she said. I saw her own lips saying that on tv. "Can I call you Joe?" She kept calling him O'Biden in prep for the debate, so they had her say Joe. Regardless, she even let it slip once in the debate.

As I stated previously the Donkeycrats need to keep the MSM on Palin so as distract people from Obie-dud's performance or lack of.
Typical CYA from the liberal elite.
Ultimately though Palin, like Obama and the rest of the political class are part of a dysfunctional political system. Its not promoting people of either intellect nor integrity but scoundrels, career criminals and empty headed charismatics. IOW people that are killing the country and its people.
Both parties need to go and people need to stop voting for either major party.
