the smoking gun has a copy of the manifesto written by the man who flew his plane into an IRS building today. www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/years/2010/0218102stack1.html Upon reading it, it's very hard to classify him as either "right" or "left." On one hand- his main issue was with taxes (read: teapartier) but on the other hand, one of his chief gripes was that the government didn't provide healthcare despite collecting the taxes (read: socialist). On top of all that, he ended his letter with quotes from marx. one issue for me is trying to figure out how an issue over a tax accountant hiding an extra 12500 in income on his returns could lead him to the point of making the decisions he did. As much as I'm skeptical about how the government will cover-up or gloss over this incident, I'd have to come to the conclusion that there was an underlying suicidal motivation (which admittedly could have been the result of policy) and the recent bout was the straw that broke the camel's back so to speak.

I've read that the FBI has placed taps on the sites hosting his manifesto. And yes the FBI has the tech and doesn't mind breaking the law.

I believe it waltc. the smoking gun is a rather heavily trafficked site, FBI is going to be searching through a lot of files.
