Just saw 20 minutes of this show on the Hitler Channel, I mean the History Channel, before shutting it off. abcnews.go.com/Technology/Earth2100/Earth2100 where all the inconvenient truths come true. One of the commentarians for this future-history is Van Jones, hehe. The red-state SW is a dust bowl and people are escaping this Mad Max scenario, and people are emigrating to the blue-states which is an eco-paradise. In New York (blue state) there are dirigibles in the sky doing who knows what and windmills, solar panels, and a bunch of greenhouses on the skyscrapers, and then I shut it off. The hard-left and the hard right really do meet at the edges of the spectrum, they both have survivalist fantasies of searching for their utopia in a dystopian world.

Dirigibles in the sky, lol, how steampunk. I'm a big fan of sci-fi, but I've never been a fan of, in fact I hate, steampunk.

Hmmm, Van Jones the commie thug Obama tried to get appointed get to do commentary on a future enviro piece. Man talk about slanting.
Though I find it amusing that anyone would think that a future NYC would become some sort of eco-paradise populated by unhygienic vegans/grazers replete with windmills and solar panels. But unless the people migrated south every year before winter they'd freeze to death in their eco-paradise.
And the Left has the nerve to bitch about every one else ignoring science.
