Those who have known me here for a while will know I like to share from personal experience. this issue is no different My dad had one BS degree, worked for the same company after graduation until he retired. We were never lacking for money growing up. we lived in a nice house in a nice neighborhood. dad had a new car every 2-3 years. we had a boat and a place at the lake. Mom didn't have to work. we took a major family vacation almost every year. I have two degrees, professional certifications. coincidently work doing almost the same type work in a similar industry as my dad did. drive two tired 10 plus year old vehicles. we scrimp and save (hotel points from wrok travel help!) to maybe take a small weekend getaway. we do not live extravegantly by any measure. we live in the same neighborhood that I did when I was a toddler except now the homes are 40-50 years older instead of brand new. Its funny that in inflation adjusted dollars I make less money than dad did for the same work despite having more education. I work more hours than he did as well, despite all the "advances" in "productvity" technology such as smart phones and computers. Dads health coverage pretty much paid for everything and things like deductibles and copays were unheard of, more comes out of my pocket and health coverage pays for less and less. So at least from my perspective the above observatoins hold true BTW dad smoked, I don't

Blame the worker, been the refrain of conservatives and to a lesser extent Democrats when Clinton regime killed off what was left of the FDR Democrats with NAFTA.
The only way to fix this, is to wipe out both political parties. Both are evil, corrupt entities that only care about enriching a handful of insiders at the cost of the nation.
