This is beyond sickening.
Will the Chicoms get it? Depends if the people of Idaho raise hell and threaten to recall any politico who supports this and make life hell on the business community that is probably behind it. Then again they kept that fucker who was picking up men in public bathrooms and having sex with them.
I really don't have much faith in the Idahoans having the common sense to fight this.
Oh yeah don't expect the Chinese to obey our EPA and OSHA rules. Remember this is zone is part of China, not the U.S. I can see a torrent of pollution spewing forth, polluting the water, air and land.

If this comes to pass, it should be the beginning of an armed revolution in this country.
There is no earthly benefit to this for Americans, or even Idahoans. It just steals jobs from American workers by producing goods for the American market--and others--that should be produced by Americans.
How could Idaho even be considering this? Is the state just completely controlled by globalist international Corporations that somehow think they'll be able to get in on the action?

The DEMOCRATS are in favor of this? Seriously? WHY?!

Consider this, under the Clinton Administration the Democrats passed the following:
1) NAFTA 2) Killed Glass-Stegall 3) PNTR for China
These amounted to a declaration of war against the middle-class and those in the private sector. This also caused the massive shift to the GOP in 2000 and killed off Algor's political future.
Ironically all of these were originally pushed by the GOP. The Dems just ran with them and rammed them down our throats. NAFTA BTW is illegal and unConstitutional since it's give judicial authority on trade decisions to foreign bodies. But you don't see Democrats squawking about it. About the only person left is Bernie Sanders who tries to fight these treaties/sell outs.
Given this track record, the Dems wouldn't lift a finger if this China fiefdom came to pass.
BTW such proposals aren't new. Here in Lancaster, CA the local mayor, actually supported the idea of bringing in a Chicom automaker replete with workers, dorms, some months back. It wasn't tolerated.
Still such behavior should give people pause that even at the local level politicians are willing to sell us out for a buck.

If Americans see the Communist colonization, pollution, slave conditions of the Chinese colonists, and the Orwellian repression of any information in their own back yard then good. As long as there's only one of these slave colonies, more than 1 and it becomes a beachhead for a military invasion.

The Reupblicrats are in charge Walt, 2 sides of the same coin. These politicians would sell there mothers for a $.05 if they don't get any bites on a long term lease...
In case you didn't realize, Otter is a Repuke and the state is also controlled by Reps. This is a Republican initiative that apparently supports all the benefits of the "Globalrapezation Mirrage".
Don't get me wrong here, I'm sure the politically connected Democricans would love to see a sovereign ChIdaho zone developed, they may even support offering a "free" Senator as a bonus perk. I'm sure the ensuing disaster can only be limited by ones imagination.

Consider this, under the Clinton Administration the Democrats passed the following: 1) NAFTA 2) Killed Glass-Stegall 3) PNTR for China Just to be fair, though NAFTA was passed by the Clinton Administration, a majority of Democrats in Congress opposed it. Meanwhile, an overwhelming majority of Republicans supported it. NAFTA was a product of a Republican Congress, and--as Thom Hartmann sarcastically puts it-- "the best Republican President we've ever had--Bill Clinton."

ULC
I'm aware of the details, but the Dem congress weenies did themselves no favors in staying silent and let a guy like Perot fight the entire apparatus of the Democratic and Republican parties alone.
They knew the NAFTA bill was patently unconstitutional and illegal as hell. They should have walked out and torched the legislation on the steps of the capitol building and condemned Clinton and Algore.
They didn't, they betrayed the country and people.
They deserve to be pilloried for their enabling of Clinton and his free trade apparatchiks like Pelosi, Schumer and Reid that have continued on the legacy of free trade expansion.

Don't forget the under Clinton, we also:
4. Passed legislation to de-regulate derivatives
5. Joined the WTO
The path to our destruction was started in the 90s and we've been on it ever since.

I forgot the Telecommunications Act of 1996 that destroyed what was left of independent mainstream media. Fortunately, we still have the internet, until the gov't decides to brand it "domestic terrorism" and shuts it down.
