The Dow was down 635 today.
Buying gold and silver was the smartest thing I ever did. When I first bought gold in Feb 2010 it was $1040/ounce.
I fear the gov't will stop precious metals transactions soon and begin confiscating gold/silver.

List of country credit ratings en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_credit_ratingThis list makes no sense, doesn't take into account history and cultural attitudes. Seems like a short term memory thing. Greece at the very bottom looks more like punishment for recent events by some banker throwing a temper tamtrum for not getting payed, then a "credit rating".

Here we go again. The Dow has rocketed up another 340+ points, along with its kissing cousin Platinum. Meanwhile, Gold has gone down, like it always does when the overoptimistic speculative money comes flooding back into the market.
Does anyone believe these rapid fluctuations are due to anything other than automated high frequency trading and algorithms?
An average person would be insane to voluntarily put money in the market right now.
But then many people are involuntarily trapped due to their 401K holdings, which adds to the speculative fuel available to investment fund managers.

I pulled all my investments out of the market. Purely because of conscience issues.

Roll your 401K into your IRA so you can control it.
As it stands most people will never be able to collect from their 401K's due to the age requirements they've imposed.
You'll either eat their penalty for early withdraw
or
die.
