www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=9910495Recent Duke University study finds Chinese and Indian engineering grads lacking in high tech skills. Contrary to the H1B proponents, study finds that China and India aren't even producing enough for their own needs let alone the rest of the worlds tech school grads. On the other hand, the US is way ahead of the rest of the world in graduating high tech skilled workers. Study also finds that the bottom line for companies is lower cost labor when hiring H1Bs it has nothing to do with lack of US workers. Can we finally put the so called skilled labor shortage lie to rest, and call it what it really is - a vehicle to depress wages and facilitate outsourcing?

Thanks for posting that. It's no surprise that we are graduating more high-skilled workers than any other countries. The problem was never about the number of high-skilled Americans available. Rather, it's about the unwillingness of business to pay those high-skilled workers the going market rate in wages.
