Just heard this on Lou Dobbs, from Hillary Clinton, speaking to a group of Silicon Valley CEOs: "We need to increase the number of H1B visas....". (I'll add more to this when I can find more.)
Just unbelievable. Now it's completely clear where Clinton got her campaign contributions, and who's interests she really cares about--the interests of her big campaign contributors. Exclusively.
She's now the leader of the pack when it comes to being a cheap-labor advocate, and a proponent of suppressing American wages.
Along with her support of the Senate's Comprehensive Amnesty Bill, and likely support of increased outsourcing, I see no reason to vote for her. (and every reason to vote for her opponent.)

A clear pander to the silicone valley big corporate elites
The more I hear from Hillary and the more I learn about here the less I like - sell out on trade and immigration, her lack of remorse over her Iraq support, ties to Walmart and the influence on offshoring, and now more H1Bs.
If she ends up being the domocratic nominee, I will have no choice but to hold my nose and vote for a republicrit barring a credible third party candidate.

I hope her numbers hold up for awhile yet; she is such a lightning rod for Republican venom, especially older white males. The more they froth over her, the less energy the have to attack the other candidates.
Olbermann has repeated an interview with Al Gore for the last three nights. Do you suppose Keith has a motive? I don't think Al will run if there is a clear and popular winner among the present runners at deadline to file time.

Good point graybeard, she is a good foil and lightning rod. However, as both parites are putting up lackluster and polarizing candidates, there could be an opening for a credible 3rd party candidate. Some names floated about are Gore, Hagel, Bloomberg, Paul could all be a third party winner.
What I would like to see is some sort of alliance by the true conservatives who are increasingly dissatisfied with the republican domination by the religious right and neo-liberal-cons and labor and moderate democrats, who all have common ground on fiscal responsibility, getting out of foreign entanglements, border security and immigration enforcement, and jobb outsorucing.. If these groups got together and had a credible populist candidate leading them it could put the bozos in the race to shame and be the foundation for a new party
