Senator Barack Obama clearly stated his pro-amnesty position in a recent Iowa campaign speech. " Obama said he would like a temporary legal status and an application process for those illegal immigrants who are already here to become legal citizens...."

I have no use for Obama either, and this position helps confirm it. Neither of the media's democratic front runners have any appeal whatsover. Up until now Obama was all style and no substance. Now that his "substance" is coming out, I don't like what I hear. The previous statement that gave me pause on this guy is his tacit approval of the Korean free trade bill that looks the other way at the slave labor conditions in Gaesong.
He is actually losing ground in recent polls as well. A "fresh face" just isn't enough to carry him thru. An african american that would condone slave labor, or would allow millions of illegals to take jobs from and suppress wages of legal citizen minorities just floors me.
No one really wants to take a deeper look at or criticise this guy because I think no one want to be seen as beating up on the black man.

The Repubs figured out how to beat Rep. Harold Ford in the Tennesee race for Senate last year, with an ad with a white woman insinuating sex with him. The other night the tv "news" was showing white women with "I love Obama" tight T shirts. He's finished in Redneck Country.

No one really wants to take a deeper look at or criticise this guy because I think no one want to be seen as beating up on the black man. I think you're right on all counts here. He's been as deliberately non-committal as possible on everything. Now he's being forced into taking positions, and none of them sound very good. When he leads into his Iraq soundbite with "No one wants to cut off funds for the troops," I know he's got nothing tangible to say. And informing the public of a vague disagreement about the Korean trade deal through a spokesperson is the height of cowardice and non-conviction. Both Obama and Clinton have more than enough money to make their positions on issues very clear and very tangible. Instead, however, they've spent their campaign money on being as evasive and obfuscatory as possible on every issue. Both are free traders. Both advocate amnesty and open borders. Neither have any interest in rolling back Bush's top 2% tax cuts. Both will keep us in Iraq until the cows come home.

If he ever really had a chance in red state america, its pretty much done now. People forget that the only reason he won in Illinois is because the republican incumbant Ryan imploded in a spousal abuse/sex scandal (so much for the party of family values), and they put up that bigotted loser Keyes against him.
Which makes them both neo-CONs
I was watching last nights news and it was all Hillary this and Hillary that. The election is over and the media has decided that Hillary is our next president already.
