This category is for any information anyone wants to post on 3rd parties. It can include any links to 3rd parties or 3rd party forums. It's also a place to post any suggestions on formation of a 3rd party, as well as suggestions on a 3rd party platform.
from: The Declaration of Independence: "all Men are...endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights... to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted... whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it"
It has been my experience that the Third Parties now existing are either too busy with their own agenda, or do not have the "mindset" that it takes to form coalition. I have gotten some positive feedback to introductory messages i sent out, but only a small percentage. A couple of these responders are small start-ups themselves and are receptive to friends wherever they find them. There was a little interest expressed by a member of the "Constitution Party", in participaying in coalition, but I haven't heard anything recently from him...about coalition. They may still be considering it among themselves.
When I first started this political project, (Third Parties Coalition), it was my big dream to bring ALL of them together...even the far Left and Right. It is my belief that enough points of agreement can be found between even the Nazis and Communists to work together at least some. Anyway, I soon saw the hopelessness of that...at least for now.
My second round of invitations to form coalition was aimed more toward the center of the political spectrum...though I did exclude the two parties of the "Duopoly". I felt like it was they that a Third Parties Coalition would replace. But, still didn't get much response even from the middle ground.
After that second round I sort of took a vacation from reaching out to the Third Parties and haven't gotten going on that again...yet.
Personally, my political orientation is somewhat Left. But no where near Communism. I think I am becoming a "Mutualist". I like what I have read about it so far, but I dont think it will succeed in today's world, until People come to value each other more...and recognize the same rights for each other. But this is the way it has mostly always been for me. The way I see things is usually too soon or too late or way out on the edge somewhere. I'm mostly just a man who takes an interest in what Humanity is doing on Mother Earth and tries to help in his own impotent way. I am learning. That must count for something.
Anyway. I will contribute what I can here. I am spread mighty thin throughout cyber space, but go more frequently to the places I feel and think is the most interesting.

unlawflcombatnt: OldUser-the sign-in area is in the dark area immediately under the red section that says Economic Populist Forum. It's almost impossible to see, unless you know where to look. This was ProBoards idea, not mine.

jeffolie: One might short a bull ETF to gain the decay but this requires a margin position subject to changes imposed by the exchanges & brokers

jeffolie: Holding a stop loss in these algo dominated markets almost always means the algos will hit your stops

jeffolie: Even so, these leveraged ETFs do not create margin calls nor expiration dates thus allowing one to hold indefinitely

jeffolie: Yes, the ETF features fading/leveraged decay because the futures and/or options used decay plus the administrative costs rise the decay, declining value ... I accept this as a cost and feature of all ETFs that purchase futures/options to maintain price

mimzy: jeffolie ~ I've been reading/lurking you for a year or three now and was wondering if your could you explain how you overcome quantum fading/leveraged decay in your ETF short position of the DJIA?
