Below are links to selected writers at the Examiner.com site (of which I'm a member myself.)
LA County Nonpartisan Examiner
The above link is to some excellent articles by writer Carl Herman. Carl is an Economics teacher in Los Angeles County. He posts 10-20 articles per week at the Examiner.com site (Sometimes as many as 3 per day.) They are mainly on Economics issues (especially banking) and on the Middle East wars--Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, etc. All articles I've read have been excellent and well-referenced, with multiple links included.
As suggested by the label, Carl's critiques are of both parties. I'd also categorize his views as decidedly populist.
Some readers on this forum would be especially interested in his views on banking, as he is an advocate of a California state run bank. His writings on monetary reform and the financial industry are truly excellent, and I highly recommend that members and guests read them.
I'm actively trying to get Carl to post on this forum.

NY Obama Administration Examiner
Above is a link to New York writer Marc Rubin's spot on Examiner.com. Marc has written some excellent articles critical of President Obama, with a major emphasis on the Great Vacillator-in-Chief's waffling on health care reform. Like myself, Marc is especially aggravated by Obama's move to drop the Public Option from health care reform, despite 72%-78% of those polled being in favor of it.
It would appear Marc shares my views on not just the "public option's" benefits, but on Obama's overall wishy-washy nature, and failure to take a stand on anything (other than bailing out rich bankers with taxpayers' money.)

LA Populist Examiner
This is a link to my own writings at the Examiner.com site. I've posted most of my Examiner articles on this forum already--at least in some form or other, though I've updated and revised most of them.
---------
I'll add more Examiner links in the future, when I find other Examiners who have they same populist fervor as most of us on this forum have.
