In the 90's when I was driving truck I had a laptop with me and it ran a map program, that map program was compatible with a mouse-looking device that I hung out the window which collected GPS positional info, and I got it to display my position on the map program in real time. This is long before Tom-Tom car navigation systems and it certainly didn't cost $200-$800, geez, damn i'm looking at the prices online for these systems. The map-program was like 20 dollars and so was the GPS device. I brought my laptop with me to play games while I was waiting to get loaded or unloaded, which seemed to last forever. Bragging session over. It helped allot. I couldn't stand the horrible directions I'd get over the Quailcomm and figured there had to be a better way. I haven't driven truck in like 9 years now. So do they have better internet connections yet, or do they still have those crappy (really crappy with high ping) modem connections at some truck stops?

And why is it bad to navigate in it? I think it's best if you just look at the Locator locatr.mx/ . You will be sure that you will not be able to get lost, because such a service can be absolutely unequivocally trusted. Don't be afraid, let yourself go with your principles and enjoy the process. This is the most important and very convenient during the trip - always trust what your phone tells you and get new impressions.
