35% to buy an iPhone now that Verizon has joined the mix This impresses me as a big shift. ===================================== My local paper for our large city (pop approaching 500,000 Long Beach is the fifth-largest city in California and is situated on San Pedro Bay, south of Los Angeles, in Los Angeles County) is doing an online poll asking: Are you considering buying an iPhone now that Verizon has joined the mix? So far ths poll shows about 35% plan to buy. www2.presstelegram.com/index.html?_requestid=4189169

I'm sure it's pretty accurate in terms of the young adults. But I suspect for the over 35 crowd that 35% is waay too big.
To me the Iphone is a overpriced toy for people that need to constantly entertained like little children. Other than it's cool factor a throw away phone will work just as well for the rest of us.

The only thing I'd like to buy is an iPhone jammer.

Cell phone jammers you say?
Well sellers of these fine devices abound on the internet. Prices range from $40.00 to $300.00 depending on ones need.
Just make sure its capable of jamming 3G which is the carrier that the phone uses.
Most sellers AFAIK are still out of country because it's illegal to sell or own one here in the U.S.
Too bad because every library, bookstore, concert hall, etc should have them to shut up the stupid fuckers who can't stop using these devices and refuse to respect other people who are forced to listen to their mindless drivel and loud mouth farts.
