Silver priced at $40 is a nice round number.
Some speculators decide on just such a nice round number such as $40 as a target price to sell...'if it gets to my target then I will sell' thinking.
I expect some selling at $40...and if $40 is such a tempting target sell price, then imagine how tempting a $50 target sell price will make...and the prior high from the Hunts brothers...and $100
The same target price sell tactic may well happen with gold at $1500...and $2000

I do not post to sell at target prices...see below...I advocate using moving averages to stay with the trends both long and short if trading. My 2011 jeffolie predictions included: "....GOLD, SILVER: gold will rise above $1455; silver will rise above $37. A high and wide trading range for gold from over $1500 to below $1300. A high and wide trading range for silver from over $40 to below $27. Use moving averages to stay with the trends both long and short if trading.
